Selection of most beautifully arranged yard
The Commission for Selection of most beautifully arranged yard has recently tightened up the range of citizens competing for most beautifully arranged yard. Out of 20 visited yard, the Commission designed a rang list of 8 yards of natural persons and 2 companies' yards.

Nezdet Mustafa, the Minister without portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and National Coordinator the Decade and Strategy of Roma 2005 -2015, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo, Goran Maleshevski will sign a Memorandum for cooperation. The fundamental objective of this document is to establish understanding as well as to undertake coordinated activities and collaboration which can provide safe, continuous and organised implementation of the activities of the Decade and Strategy of Roam through its the National and Local Plans. The signing of the Memorandum is scheduled for July 23th 2009 at 12 h p.m. in the Municipality of Delchevo. Assembly of the Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe in Sarajevo
The Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo, Goran Maleshevski, with six of its Macedonian counterparts, attended the 4th Assembly of the Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe – PHILIA, held on July 3rd and 4th in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The central topic of the gathering where expert politicians of OSCE, EU, and OHR, representatives of South-eastern Europe cities, NGOs and media were present was “Elections – local politics and cooperation in the region of Southeast Europe”.
Promotion of the debutant book of Ana Dimitrovska
Last night, in the premises of the Memorial Home ASNOM, the CA “Pijanechki glas” from Delchevo, organised a promotion of the debutant book of Ana Dimitrovska - the youngest author’s who has published a book on the age of 15, in Delchevo. A substantial contribution in the organisation was provided by the employees and Ana’s schoolmates of the Primary School “Sv. Kliment Ohridski”. Ana’s teacher Danka Atanasova spoke of her beginnings in writing, and her friends read verses.
Study trip for “Regional development through regional management” in Germany
The Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo, Goran Maleshevski with its mayor counterparts of the Eastern and Southeastern region will attend a study trip for “Regional development through regional management” in Germany, in the period between June 21 and June 27. The study trip was organised by GTZ and INVEST. The mayors’ visit is to the end of getting acquainted with the regional development in Germany, its functioning in this European country, as well as getting acquainted with the cooperation between institutions in the area of regional cooperation, and additionally to meet good practices which can be implemented in our country.
Iron Curtain Trail will pass through Delchevo
Macedonia will enter in united Europe through the Iron Curtain Trail, which for the first time now will pass through Delchevo, Berovo and Strumica as part of the destination of 20 000 European cyclists that promote each year the message against divisions reminding on the time when the Iron Curtain was imposed between the East and West.
The objective of the Iron Curtain Trail is to bind people, people from Europe. The path starts at the Barents Sea, and ends in the south in Turkey traversing many countries in Europe. The objective is Macedonia to be included in the international project as well. The Trail will continue from Bulgaria through Delchevo, Berovo and Strumica then it follows Greece and Turkey, said Eva Maria Rote, CIM Consultant in the Centre for Development of the East Region. Within the Campaign “Together for more beautiful Delchevo”, the Municipality of Delchevo shall conduct the action “Selection of most beautifully arranged yard”. To that end, submit an application of your yard or your neighbor’s yard that always attracts your attention!

Public Affairs in the Municipality of Delchevo
The current project for Public Affairs which is being implemented jointly by the Municipality of Delchevo through the PECA "Bregalnica" and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, aims at partial solution of the environmental and infrastructure issues in the Municipality, so as decreasing of the unemployment rate of the long-term unemployed persons with low educational profile. According to the project, the envisaged activities are the following: cleansing of the watercourses in the city in total length of 6470 m, increasing the number of green surfaces in the central city area, cleansing of the bed of the river Bregalnica, sanction of the landfill Ostrec, construction of part of the collector system in the city, reconstruction of the water supply network as well as cleaning of the local roads: Dramche - Vratislavci and Gabrovo - Zvegor - Stamer - Grad - Virche - Star Istevnik in total length of 28 km.

Fire caused by defective installation burnt a substantial ethnologic wealth of Pijanec. More than 50 folk costumes, manufactured and gathered for 34 years and all folk musical instruments owned by the CAA "Goce Delchev” of Delchevo were destroyed in the fire which burst out yesterday in the afternoon in the premises of the CAA.
- It’s an immeasurable damage, these were traditional folk costumes, traditional wealth of Pijanec, but also of the Povardarie and folk costumes of the Aegean region. The total wealth we gathered for 34 years. Now we are left with nothing, says Zenil Redzepov – Struchni, stage designer of CAA “Goce Delchev” of Delchevo. Action for cleansing the bed of the river Bregalnica
The Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Unit of Local Self-government Delchevo has initiated an action for cleansing the bed of the river Bregalnica. The leader of the action is the Directorate for Protection and Saving within the Ministry of Environment. 5 construction enterprises and two Public Enterprises of the Municipality are included in the action as well as over 100 workers out of which 64 were recruited through a project of the Municipality of Delchevo and the Employment Agency.
The Citizens Information Centre in Delchevo is prepared to start
The Citizens Information Centre in Delchevo is prepared to receive and provide services for its citizens. The equipment of the premises is completed, so as the trainings envisaged for the persons employed in the Centre. According to the initial information, the official opening of the Centre is scheduled for July 9th this month, which will essentially mark the beginning of the application of the one-stop-shop system in the Municipality of Delchevo, thus contributing to the quality of both the operation and the efficiency of the municipal administration.
Goce Days
The final part of the International manifestation “Goce Days” will be held in Delchevo on June 13, 2009. The celebration will start at 7. 30 p.m., by laying flowers at the monument of Goce Delchev in the centre of Delchevo. The book “History of Macedonian People” – edition of the National History Institute, will afterwards be presented. The cultural and artistic programme embracing performances of artists, soloist and CAAs shall start at 9 p.m. on the summer stage before the memorial house ASNOM.
Special Football Olympiad in Delchevo
Delchevo was hosting the 7-th Special Football Olympiad. More than 250 persons with special needs on the city stadium in Delchevo yesterday showed that love for football has no boundaries nor differences. Football was played in three divisions depending on the category, and women football was also played for the first time this year.
Start of the construction of sport hall in Delchevo
The cornerstone laying ceremony marked the official start of the construction of the school gym in Delchevo, as part of the Government Project for construction and renovation of 145 sports halls throughout the country.The gym is located in the courtyard of the high school "Metodi Mitevski Brico".
"Today we start the construction of the tenth gym in the frameworks of the Government project for construction of 145 sports gyms in the country. In this manner the Government of the Republic of Macedonia continues its efforts for bringing up healthy individuals, individuals prepared to face the challenges that life brings and in the same time to cherish the competitive spirit because life is competition", said Pero Stojanovski, the Minister of Education and Science. |
