The Municipality of Delchevo in partnership with the NGO "Bravura Cooperative", and within the project approved by the MLSP, as part of the program to introduce social services for vulnerable categories, will implement the project "Club for social inclusion for people with disabilities." As the Mayor Goran Trajkovski pointed out, promoting the efforts of the Municipality of Delchevo for integration of these people in the society and on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, during this month, an agreement will be signed with the MLSP. the goal is to improve the quality of life of people with special needs in the Municipality of Delchevo, through the development and promotion of new alternative forms of social services.

– The project is designed for implementation of 6 programs for people with disabilities and means an organized form of service for rehabilitation, professional orientation and socialization, within the Daily Center for People with Disabilities Delchevo. The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in the Municipality of Delchevo, through the development and promotion of new alternative forms of social services, said Trajkovski

Traditionally, on the occasion of December 3 and within the "Days of Humanity - Give with Love", the Municipality of Delchevo calls to awaken philanthropy and social responsibility of companies, but also to raise awareness of people with disabilities and their integration into society.

In that sense, the Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo donates funds to improve the living conditions of these people in the Day Care Center in Delchevo in order to better maintain the hygiene of the space and installation under which will enable easy maintenance of cleanliness in the premises in accordance with Covidity protection protocols 19.

– Today, as the world celebrates World Disability Day, I send a message of greater awareness to people with disabilities, in particular, to promote a better understanding of the field of disability, with a focus on their rights and integration into society. And everything that is promoted on this day and the important messages from this day - to be our guides throughout the year, said Trajkovski.

This year, due to the current pandemic, some of the planned activities within the Days of Humanity will not take place, some will be implemented online, but the message will be clear: a better understanding of the field of disability, with a focus on the rights of people with special needs and benefits that will arise from the process of integration of these persons in every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life in their community.

On the topic "Different, but still the same" in educational institutions will be realized various contents and preparations for extracurricular activities, and a concrete example of integration of these people will be given by the Delcevo library, where on December 3 little Laura will be a librarian and will publishes books to the readers, and in the art studio of the Center for Culture "NJ Vapcarov" will be included children with special needs who will learn the techniques of painting.

Days of humanity "Give with love" are organized on the occasion of the World Day dedicated to people with disabilities, December 3, in partnership with educational institutions and kindergarten, JLB "Ilinden", NUCC "NJ Vapcarov" Daily Center for people with disabilities special needs from Delchevo, ZG "Bravura cooperative", as well as the Commission for Equal Opportunities.

The form of donation, ie social responsibility of companies is not unknown in Delchevo. Last year, the company "Bregal" donated for the needs of the Daily Center an electric van for transporting children with disabilities, previously with the support of the Swiss company "Albiro", partner of the Delcevo textile company "Fur", a van was transported for transporting children from the Daily center in Delchevo, and the funds raised from humanitarian actions were invested in the purchase of computers and other equipment for the needs of the center. Also, a sensory room was opened in the Day Center through an EPR project.

Shares
