Within the campaign "For a better Delchevo" and in accordance with the Program for promotion and communication with the public, guided by the motto that every individual or institution and company who with their work and creation for landscaping contribute to a better Delchevo, Municipality Delchevo for the third time this year organizes a selection of the most beautiful yard in the municipality. The application for the competition lasted from May 18 to June 30 and 10 applicants applied in two categories:
– selection of the most beautiful yard for individuals and
– selection of the most beautiful yard of legal entities and facilities for collective housing

According to the results of the voting of the commission from the category of natural persons, the yard of Ivana Lefkovska was chosen, while from the category of legal entities and collective housing, the yard of the building No. 1 on the Quay of Bregalnica received the most votes.
As a Commission, we were surprised by the creativity and ideas that our fellow citizens have. It was seen that effort and love were invested in arranging all the yards.
The selected yards impressed with freshness and creativity with a grassy area, evergreen trees and flower contents.
Because this action is expected to grow into a traditional one, we believe that it is necessary as a commission to give advice to our citizens who want to apply for the same next year.
The most important thing is that the area that is being arranged and reported to have sufficient grass area maintained and nurtured. Trees, shrubs and perennials should be planted along the edges of the grass area next to the yard fence. The taste for the choice of flowers always remains the choice of the owner, but our suggestion is that the balcony flowers be smaller in growth and with a richer floral content. The part with flowers in the grass area should be a grouping of flowering shrubs that will have wider flowers in order to express the grouping itself.
We propose that the arrangement be completed with decorative elements made of concrete, plaster, plastic, wood, etc.
From here, as a representative of the Commission and with the support of the Mayor Goran Trajkovski, we announce that we will continue the action in the coming years and encourage our fellow citizens to participate and apply for the selection of the most beautiful yard, because preparing for it your yard will make it a nice and cozy place for rest and recreation.
