COMPETITION for awarding 18 scholarships to excellent students from the high school "MM Brico" from II, III and IV year -2020

1. The Municipality of Delchevo will award 10 scholarships to regular excellent students from the high school "MM Brico" Delchevo from II, III and IV year, in the academic year 2020/2021, who meet the following conditions

1.1. Regular excellent students from II, III and IV in the academic year 2020/2021, with continuous average excellent success from 4.50 to 5.00 and with exemplary behavior

1.2. Students whose parents are unemployed, with low monthly incomes or recipients of social assistance.

 The Commission for awarding student scholarships determined the following criteria with points, for awarding 10 (ten) scholarships from item 1 of the competition:

1.1.1 Continuous average excellent success (4.50 to 5.00)

• continuous excellent success (5.00) -30 points
• continuous excellent success (from 4.50 to 4.99) - 25 points

1.1.2.Do not impose any pedagogical measure against the student (total 10 points)

• exemplary behavior (up to 10 unjustified absences) -10 points
• for each unjustified the total number of previously won points is reduced by 0.5 points.

1.2.1 The family-material position of the student

The following sub-criteria have been established for this criterion:

• Family without any income – 60 points;
• Family without any income and whose members are not registered with the Employment Agency – 55 points;
• Family with incomes up to 3,100.00 denars per family member – 55 points;
• Family with incomes from 3,101.00 to 4,600.00 denars per family member – 50 points;
• Family with incomes from 4,601.00 to 6,2,500.00 denars per family member – 45 points;

2. The Municipality of Delchevo will award 8 (eight) scholarships to students from the high school "MM Brico" Delchevo who have achieved particularly high success in learning, who meet the following requirements:

2.1 Regular students from II, III and IV year in the academic year 2020/2021, with continuous average excellent success from 4.50 to 5.00 and with exemplary behavior

2.2. Students who have won at least one prize in an individual category in the previous year for winning first, second or third place in national or regional competitions.

The Commission for awarding student scholarships determined the following criteria with points, for awarding 8 (eight) scholarships from item 2 of the competition:

2.1.1 Continuous great success (4.50-5.00)

• -continuous excellent success 5.00 – 60 points
• -continuous excellent success 90 – 58.8 points
• -continuous excellent success80 – 57.6
• -continuous excellent success70 – 56.4
• -continuous excellent success60 – 55.2
• -continuous excellent success50 – 54

2.1.2 No pedagogical measure has been pronounced against the student (total 10 points)

• exemplary behavior (up to 10 unjustified absences) -10 points
• for each unjustified the total number of previously won points is reduced by 0.5 points.

2.2.1 Won prizes in individual category of state or regional competitions organized by licensed institutions from the Ministry of Education and Science or the Bureau for Development of Education.

The following sub-criteria have been established for this criterion:

• for winning first place in individual category in state competition – 40 points
• for winning second place in individual category in state competition – 35 points
• for winning third place in individual category in state competition – 30 points
• for winning first place in individual category in regional competition – 25 points
• for winning second place in individual category in the regional competition – 20 points
• for winning third place in individual category in regional competition – 15 points

For awarding student scholarships from item 1 of the competition

1. Request for awarding a student scholarship (Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo and website: www.delcevo.gov.mk)
2. Photocopy of certificates from previous years;
3. Receipt for realized salary for the employed family members for the month of November 2020 or for the last month of 2020 for which the salary was taken;
4. Certificate of full-time student for family members who are pupils or students;
5. Certificate for unemployed family members from the Employment Agency;
6. Certificate from the Center for Social Affairs if a member is a beneficiary of social or permanent financial assistance;
7. Statement signed by the parent / guardian for processing the personal data of the candidate and his / her immediate family members (Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo and website: delcevo.gov.mk)

For awarding student scholarships from item 2 of the competition

1. Request for awarding a student scholarship for students who have achieved particularly high success in learning (Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo and website: www.delcevo.gov.mk)
2. Photocopy of certificates from previous years;
3. Photocopy of diplomas for won awards in individual category
4. Statement signed by the parent / guardian for processing the personal data of the candidate and his / her immediate family members (Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo and website: delcevo.gov.mk)
5. Statement from a parent / guardian for data reliability (Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo and website: www.delcevo.gov.mk)  

Procedure for awarding student scholarships

1. All necessary documents are submitted to the Archive of the Municipality of Delchevo, every working day from 7.30 to 17.30 or by mail to the address:

Municipality of Delchevo, st. "Svetozar Markovic" No. 1,
marked "for student scholarships for excellent students" for students applying for item 1 of the competition
and with the indication "for student scholarships for students with special success" for students who apply for item 2 of the competition;

2. The submitted documents after the Competition are reviewed by a Commission formed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo;
3. Incomplete documents or documents submitted after the competition deadline will not be considered;
4. The amount of the scholarships from item 1 of the competition will be 1,000 denars per month, and the amount of the scholarship from item 2 of the competition will be 1,500 denars per month, and will be awarded for 9 months starting from January 2021;
5. Scholarships are non-refundable;
6. The competition lasts 15 days from the day of the announcement and the application deadline is from 23.11.2020 to 07.12.2020;
7. The competition will be announced on the bulletin board in the Municipality of Delchevo, the high school "MM Brico" Delchevo, the regional media and the website of the Municipality of Delchevo www.delcevo.gov.mk
